All my cameras are down

Assuming your connection quality is very good, then I wonder if your power adapter is failing? Maybe it can’t supply stable power to the Cam Pan V3 cameras? If I remember correctly, they need a little bit more juice at 5 volt 2 amps. Are you using their stock cables or longer USB cables? The cameras tend to get finicky if you use an USB cable longer than 25 feet.

have you try to delete app then reinstall, worked for me.

My device was ok but went offline again this afternoon

Does this mean we can’t really on these cameras? I am just wondering!

@ohmickey1960 - Isn’t that problematic if you have more than a couple cams? Are all cams automatically reloaded to the app from your account on Wyze.com or the cloud? I’ve never had issues this serious. Then what about Alexa and/or Google Home reconnections.

This will be a new learning experience for me.

I need to have cameras working because they cover my property and shop. Thinking of selling cameras and putting in home security system. WYZE not reliable lately and a lot of people having problems with them.

Appears you need a security system and not a $35 hobbyist cam. These work for me to let me know what is going on outside. Defending property needs more investment. Other opinions may vary.

I have reconnected my old Wyze cam pan and it stays connected.

It’s not a WiFi issue it is definitely a software issue with Wyze Cam Pan v3. Is Wyze aware of this and is there going to be a fix?

Ya I am looking into it but these cameras worked well for time I had them. WYZE made some programming changes or updates and now I have to reboot them every time I want to look at what activated one of the cameras. I have a few hundred bucks tied up in these cameras and what a waste of money if I have to replace it!

What a waste of money I agree with you. It is a total failure. They deceived everyone with their lies. I regret getting these cameras un fortunately I bought 6 and I don’t know what to do with them. The move was to protect business. So sad.

Open a Wyze support ticket. They’re open between 6:00 am - 6:00 pm PT Monday through Friday, and 8am-4pm PT Saturday. This is a Community forum so if you need assistance you can start a new thread and state the issue or search for sim. issue on this site.

I am not sure what is going on with these gadget cams. Why do some see no issues and some can’t get them to work at all? The common items to blame are user’s network or their skill level. These do not make sense to me on a majority of the issues. Some people I have met are quite competent. I wish I could see the total success to failure rate.

Knock on wood or touch wood, but why are my cameras not affected by server changes or patches? I doubt if luck is the issue. Maybe some cams are randomly buggy?

If I was on your side of the success/failure rate I would most likely move on. These are fun cams to tinker with, but not enjoyable at the point of frustration. At least we have other options in vendors.

I also wish we had some sort of diagnostic tools to determine the possible issues.

Best of luck in finding a reliable cam to fit your needs.

I wish I knew the true reason why my cams work fine and others don’t. It is an annoying puzzle.

I have been opening tickets almost every time this happens
It just got to stop. It is not fair. They need to stop selling to figure out what is the problem

As @ssummerlin said, not all of us have this issues. I have five v3s and one v4 on two different properties, with two different ISPs. Not a problem since I replaced ISP supplied hardware with my own.

Same here… 5 years ago. It fixed most of the issues. What fixed all of my issues was dumping Comcast’s coax-based broadband and replacing it with fiber + mesh, purchasing additional bandwidth and speed for half the monthly cost.

I wish fiber was available in my area however I am stuck with coax broadband at home and even so crappier DSL at the cottage

I feel your pain. Preferred cellular and ISP providers are at the top of my must-have/can’t stand list for next home location.

No fiber from any providers where I live either. My friend down the street installs fiber for AT&T in the “Rich” counties, Like Marin county and part of San Francisco County. The problem is as soon as it is up the bad guys steal it thinking it is copper wire so he has good job security.
