All my cameras are down

There are known connection issues with some cam v3s depending on purchase date. Not with the Pan v3s. I have both and do not have your issues. Check forum for v3 connection issues, it’s extensive. You could also consider trying @rudylehner solution. A little drastic but it worked for him.

Support wasn’t able to help me either. Somewhere on the web I read that WYZE did an up grade and lots of people having problems with their cameras. I ended up deleting everything and unplugging all my cameras, 7 in total and starting them back up 24 hours later. All seem to be working but once in a while I’m still having problems with 1 or 2 of them working. I just cycle the power and all good. WYZE support sucks. I will buy a real security system down the road and sell all my cameras. Wyze support sucks and I don’t think it is a very secure system.

Hi Rudy,

The two camera’s I am have issues with are both pan cam v3. They all of a sudden keep coming disconnect but my V3’s are working well. I have reconnected and they are still doing this :pensive:

Both bottom camera are Pan Cam V3 the newer ones uppers ones are V3’s and not pan

Did I read some where where somebody said Wyze is having issues with Pan V3?

I believe I read somewhere on line that they are having problems, not sure what camera they’re having problems with. All my cameras are working but when I go to check them I have to cycle the power on the camera to get it to work. And that is all the cameras.

All my cameras are not working as well, i have tried everything possible that i know but it is still not working. It is very very frustrating. Can someone please help

No issues in the northeast, all my cameras online and operating normally.

Welcome. I see you recently joined. Sorry to hear of issues. Does this happen everyday? What types of cam? System says you’re on Android?

Although it doesn’t help you, I checked and all cams are okay here at the house.

Cam3 this as just started since last week

Wow
That is recent. Wonder what changed. Who is your internet provider? There have been issues with Xfinity and Rogers.

Hi ssumerlin,

Any Wyze employees on here :pray:t3: or if anyone knows anyone that works for Wyze to ask them if they know anything and can help. Thank you in advance.

Xfinity

Here’s the break down-
I have 4 Wyze Camera’s

2 Cam v3
2 Cam Pan v3

The camera’s I have issues with are
The Cam Pan V3’s

They stay connected all day and between the hours of 2am and 9am they disconnect. Then when I unplug and plug them back in they work but sometimes during the day they lose connection and then repeat. The other day I woke up and all camera’s were working but today it happened again.

The v3’s work perfect. I’ve had Wyze for a very long time and I have Never experienced this before. I upgraded to the Cam Pan v3 from the old v2 and it Never had the issue.

I have reset my modem.
Deleted cams and reinstalled and
No fix
All firmware up to date

I am tech navy but I’m no specialist

Two top cam’s are v3
Two bottoms cam’s are Cam Pan v3

How to I get to the Forum for Cam Pan v3?

Anybody will chime in. Most of the people here are volunteers but they offer free help.

Do you have the XB7 or XB8 router?

Seems that might be a good place to start?

Hi.

You are so helpful too. Thank you

I have XB8
I used to have XB7 and my cam pan v3 ‘s never did this before. But if it is my WiFi why are the other cam’s staying connect with no issues.

I chose the 2 Cam Pan v3 because they are in areas when I move the pan to check things out the other 2 cams don’t need to move

Fantastic
There have been issues with the XB7.

I don’t have the Pan cams but they should connect. You said you went through the setup process successfully?

I will ping @spamoni . Maybe he has a good troubleshooting plan.

I’m not with XFinity nor do I have XB8, but if you want you can try the following:

  1. On your PC or phone connected to your local Wi-Fi network type 10.0.0.1 on your browser to connect to your XB8 Gateway modem router.

  2. The default login should be:
    Username: admin
    Password: password

  3. Under Firewall > IP4 > select “Minimum Security (Low)” first and test if that works. If that doesn’t work, you might need to select “Custom Security” and play around the settings within it. Try to limit your changes one at a time so you can pinpoint and isolate what is causing the problem.

There is no guarantee the above will solve your issue, but that’s all I can suggest for now.

Thank you. I have XB8.

When I had XB7 all my cam’s had No issues at all.

Upon getting my XB8 all cam’s have been working Perfect up until a few weeks ago the Cam Pan v3 started to disconnect so I have no idea what’s wrong.

Hi. I did this too! I forgot to mention this before.

I just took a snapshot of this but will try this again. I appreciate the time you took to type it out. Thank you.

Then I wonder if it is an actual connection quality issue. Perhaps the XB8 2.4GHz signal is weaker than XB7 hence your Cam Pan V3 can’t connect to it ? Or maybe there is some sort of interference that’s blocking 2.4GHz signal ? If you can move your Cam Pan V3 camera closer to the source of the signal and see if it disconnects again to rule out interference.

I am glad @grapefruityoda was able to troubleshoot a liitle more in depth. Personally I use TP-Link and run on a 192.168 network, but that is irrelevant. Some Wyze problems are a difficult puzzle.

I guess warranty has expired. I can’t remember if you said you opened a case or not. A case might draw more attention.
