Lots of good points here @carverofchoice, @TomG, @Resist , but alas it’s on Wyze to set things right on properly stocking the filter. (BTW - Allergen filter is currently in stock).
I’ve been a Wyze customer since year one and was a big advocate of their products until recent (the Purifier filters and Robot Vac battery tipped me over the edge). Certainly willing to pay a few more dollars up front for a product with longer-term life cycle/support.
@carverofchoice I bet Dave would love to be acquired at this point, and would probably be best for their current customer base. Running a hardware + software company at such low margins isn’t really sustainable now days without many other supporting factors in place. Also - nice writeup on Wyze’s CM list in 2021.
And just because Wyze has been disappointing doesn’t mean they can’t turn a corner to get better. Fingers crossed.
