where do you see the lag?
streaming, playback SD Card, or somewhere else. I want to retest following your steps

I see the app lag just generally doing anything. For the lighting crash, all I do is move the color wheel around then release then start moving it again a few times then go back to the device list and that’s when the app just either freezes, lags, or crashes. For cameras, I have device groups of upwards of 10 cameras that when I tap the live stream and exit, and select a different one the app starts to bog down.

We are looking into an issue with notifications from a few products not working, I am sorry you were affected by that.

So far confirmed on Lock devices and robot vacuum. These are also things that are specific to this beta, they broke when the beta came out so the motion sensor issue would be something different and not a beta issue.

On iOS where do you go to select the notification sound? I’m not able to find it. OR does the release note mean the Wyze app notification is now different from the base OS notification sounds but you can’t select or change it in iOS?

It is not a user-selectable sound, we replaced the sound of the Wyze app so that it is different than the generic sound the phone uses.

I can’t reproduce it, but randomly I received “Complete Motion” notifications from an OG Standard cam twice, about 30 min apart. Notifications have been disabled on that cam since I got it, and I checked the notification settings to ensure they were off.
This was yesterday, it hasn’t happened again yet.

That sucks, pardon my French. Not a big fan of the new sound. I think we should’ve been given a choice. Either a multiple sound choices or a way to go back to the original. I hate being forced to do anything.
I personally hope this is the first step towards allowing users to have whatever sound they want. That is just my personal hope, I do not have any inside info on where they are headed with it.

On Android, you can set the sound you would like for the Wyze Notifications, if you don’t like what was provided. I recall in the past that you could not do that with iOS, but thought it would have been brought back by now. Is it not?

Thanks, I knew back in the day it used to allow for it. Then it disappeared, figured it was back.
You are correct, you could pick different sounds for each app, but Apple took it way. You can only assign different sounds to people in the contacts now for the phone and text messages.

I have, and personally I hate it. It is similar to “Sound Opening “ ringtone but shorter. I hope it will grow on me, but I seriously doubt it. I will roll back to the previous version.

Please thank all involved for the updates… Sorry to carp here, but can you all select a different alert for the iOS… The one you have selected is not hearable in a noisy environment. Or make it louder, or let the user select… If I am walking around in a store, and someone breaks into my home, I will not hear it. Even if the phone is cranked up full…
