Shortcuts not working here either. Do I need to uninstall beta app until resolved? If so, will I need to opt out also so it doesn’t update to beta app?

Test 3
New rule If V3 with Cam Plus detects a person turn WYZE color bulb at Back Porch on and Change color to red.
Executed as expected but did have a 7 to 9 second delay.
Yeah I noticed the delay is so long that it’s not even useful to use the old rules to turn on wyze bulb when a person is detected with a v3 camera. The V1 motion sensor works faster with the wyze bulb for me using the old rules.
I imagine this because the data has to get up to the server, run through the AI algorithm, then back down to the device.
Most of my rules are using another brand smart switches through Alexa married to a V1 motion sensor or contact sensor, they have a bit of a delay since they jump through ecosystems but my test above with the V1s to bulbs were much faster than before.
Need to set up some V2 sensor tests rules , I have a WYZE plug in a room where a V2 motion sensor is that may be the next try🙂
Hi @cheaplikeafox We’ve found the root cause of the shortcut issue and will solve it as soon as possible. You don’t need to be in the test group to use the shortcut.

I reported this in the past, just had a chance to check on this beta app and the issue still exists. Log submitted 208599.
Issue: My Camera Events page shows a 5 minute recording. When I go play the event, the time is no where close to the 5 minutes. See images below.

Initial test of the Rules yielded positive results. Created a rule to control multiple lights at one time and it fired at the correct time and fast - No Noticeable delays.
I am planning on creating all new rules for my setup today. Once I create the Rules below, I will perform my test on the Time and set my rules for 10pm, which is when I experienced an issue in the past.

I’m stuck on android v2.20.21 how does one get on the “test group” in a regular manner?
Android V2.20.21 is the production app. You have to sign up for beta to get the Android beta app 2.20.50. I don’t know how to get into the test group though. This is what qsun said above.
I’ve been in Beta since 2019.
I go to “About–>Beta Program–>edit”
and it’s checked for Wyze Beta App.

When mine was stuck in the past, I had to Clear the Cache, sign out of the app. Then as a safe guard I did a force stop and clear cache from Android itself. Then Sign back into the app and go check for updates.
If that did not work, I would uninstall the app, restart the phone and then re-install. The new Beta may be there then.
you need to also be “opted in” to beta testing on the play store
Just wanted to pass on that I still have the issue with Live Streaming on Camera’s when a Live Event is being recorded. Basically, I am unable to stream live events until the AI processing has been completed and everything works from that point on. I have submitted logs and even opened a ticket. I was informed that Wyze Support does not handle Beta Apps. Because of that I put the Production App on my iPhone and created the Ticket and submitted logs as well. The Ticket Number for the Prod is 1215948. Log Number with that ticket is: 204929 on Android and 204762 on iPhone.
Initial log for the Beta app was 203563.
If you look at the ticket, you will see a number of attachments as well. Not sure where else to turn, but since it is still an issue on this Beta Version, I wanted to make sure you were aware of this. Any assistance on this would be great.
