Zone keeps running after system shut off

I have the wyze sprinkler online for three months. It setup quick and easy and has been a pleasure to use.

Yesterday, for the 3rd time, I received a call from my wife late morning telling me that the sprinklers were on.

My system is scheduled to run until 630 am on smart schedule.

Apparently, sometime a random zone stays on even after the system shuts it off.

Support has been no help.

Anyone with ideas or having/had the same problem a found a solution.

I am sorry this is happening. When you worked with support did they give you a ticket number? If this happens again can you also do a log right after and post the log number here.

have sent several logs from the last occurrences.
They mail me a new unit I guess assuming something is bad with the current
The thing that gets me is that the zone that remains on is not the same as the previous occurrence.

Wyze can only see the logs when you give them the number, check your email history or the log history in the wyze app and send the number here please.

Could you also get your ticket number please. It should be in the email from support.

Sorry. I cannot locate those emails

Probably not convenient, but if you can catch a sprinkler zone running when it’s not programmed to be on, use a multi-meter and check to see that the timer is putting out 24ish volts AC on that zone that’s running. It’s possible that your problem could be in your valves, not turning off when they’re supposed to, but you say it’s not the same zone that’s running when it’s not supposed to?

I tried this it just shorts the zone and shuts it off so no you can’t check if the voltage is 24v while running

I have this same problem on latest firmware with all zones and multiple controllers not a valve issue as I put my old controller back and it works correctly

Seems it’s the bug introduced in firmware 1.0.7 that is still not resolved in 1.0.10. Is there anyway to roll back firmware to 1.0.4

Did you ever get a reselution to this issue?

I have the same issue on fw 1.0.11

Any help with this issue? I just got the wyze sprinklers and am running into the exact same issue. The only way to turn off the sprinklers is to cut power to the controller.
I am also on fw1.0.11

I had to clean out the sprinkler line at its control valve Then it was fine b

Same problem for me, with firmware 1.0.11 :rage:

I solve my problem… I bought an Orbit b-hyve wifi and everything back to normal. No more problems.

Too bad that I thought it was a valves problem… I changed 6 valves before see this post and realized it was the controller. :rage:

I also have had ongoing glitches with this controller. I now have an orbit b-hyve on order to replace the glitchy wyze controller.
