Your ads at the end of my downloaded videos

I recently recognized that you put an ad at the end of my downloaded videos. " Captured with WYZE doorbell camera “” Who gave you the permission to do that ? Please stop that immediatly !

Please be aware that this is a user-to-user support community and that Wyze employees may not see your comment, which might be better communicated directly to the company.

Having said that, I personally think the tag should be optional, just like users have the ability to enable or disable the Timestamp Watermark and Show Wyze Logo options in Advanced Settings. The addition of the “Captured by…” message seems to cause problems with playback, as discussed in a few other topics:

Using a V3 with an iPhone15. I’m able to save video and events on my phone but cannot send those videos once saved on my device to anyone via Messenger, iMessage or SMS. Is anyone else having this problem?

Video trouble with cam v4

Dear All: I got a cam v4 for christmas. After a few days I discovered, that I cannot play its video clips after downloading them to the android phone. I can play the videos only withing EVENTS. But after downloading or sharing, those videos have a square gray pictogram and don’t open. When I try to start the video within gallery it says “Can’t play video” or sometimes “not supported file” and the phone freezes. I have to restart it. The cams firmware is 4.52.9.1134. v2 cam on the same networ…

I suspect you’re seeing the message as a result of using the Share feature instead of the Download feature for your video clips. Unless they changed something in recent months, you can avoid that additional message by using Download:

You’re probably doing this from individual events that you’re accessing from the  Events tab, and you probably used the  Share button instead of the  Download button. That’s what tends to do it, at least on Android (I see that you’ve designated yourself as an iOS user). Try using  Download from that screen and see what happens.
