When I share/save a video from my Cam V3 a banner stating “Captured by Wyze Cam V3” overwrites the last four seconds of video. I can watch the complete video on the app but the issue occurs when I try to save or share the video. I contacted customer support and their, after a reset, is to replace the camera. This sounds like an app or software issue.

@eoeo Don’t use the share feature, just use the download function, save to phone > send via message or email > delete from the phone if desired. No “Captured by WYZE Cam xxx” on any of the videos .
Antonius - Thanks! that worked! I didn’t realize there was a separate Download function beyond Share. Actually, when I click on Share the app states “Downloading”, which to me would be the same thing… I spent 24 minutes with Wyze support and sent them my video but they couldn’t answer the issue. Antonius - oops! I was premature in my response. Downloading keeps the Banner from being added to the end of the video but the final four seconds are cut off. I watch the same video on the app on my iPhone and then the downloaded video on my iPad. The original ends after 19 seconds the downloaded version ends after 15 seconds. Very Frustrating!!!
I just downloaded a video, Cloud recording tags it at 28 seconds and it ends at 05:39:13 this morning. The downloaded video shows 26 seconds, it also ends at 05:39:13 this morning, didn’t miss a thing.![]()
Compare the time clock on your cloud and downloaded videos.
Do you have SD cards in your cameras set to Continuous Recording? When I need to save a video clip, I generally go to SD card Playback and click the Record button. This allows me to determine the start and end of the clip exactly how I want it.
I do that also if I want to see the before and after sequence of events.
