Wyze's Firmware page broken?

What happened to Wyze’s Firmware page? Every camera/device had it’s own section but now I have scroll through endless updates to find my device.

Why do I have to read through ALL of the wyze cameras and ALL of corresponding firmware just to get to the firmware I’m looking for? It was so simple to just click on your camera version and find what you’re looking for.
Why wyze? Why?

I started a post on the camera forum section about the wyze firmware release notes page and it was moved to the watercooler section. Watercooler section is described as a place to talk about things that are not Wyze products. It seems to me the wyze app is a product of wyze and that is how I usually get to that page through the app to find more information about the update the Wyze app keeps asking me to install. Not sure why I was moved to the watercooler section.

Your post was merged here because it was an existing topic about the same issue you were commenting on. It was moved so all conversation about it could be kept to one place to avoid cross posting about the same issue in multiple locations.

The firmware and change log page is just a webpage that the app links to, Very similar to the web links to the Support site, terms of service pages, etc. Here is that webpage for the change log referenced here in this topic:

The comments here have been escalated and I am hoping to get an update for you folks.

Looking at the firmware page on my iPad Pro, I almost got finger cramp before arriving at the v3 section.

How does one get to that screen? I’ve never see that one before. Do you have an Iphone?

Here is the URL

Release Notes & Firmware – Wyze

Also, the way I get to it on the phone is to start the app, click on the Account Option, then tap on Firmware Update. On any of the Firmware updates, click on What’s new and you will be brought to the page.

You must have an iphone cuz I don’t have those options. I can go to account>Firmware update but my screen didn’t look anything like yours

Under the first item, Shop Lock you see the What’s New. Tap on that and you will be taken to the FW Page. But going to get my iPhone and see.

EDIT

Just checked and it is the same. you get to the FW page and if you scroll down you will see this when you expand Cameras:

Just to make sure, an android user (me) should be able to see this screen/configuration as well, correct?

One way to get to the page I screenshotted is actually on the screenshot that you provided, click any of the “what’s new”.

But the main way I get to it is on my phone in the Chrome browser, go to Google and search “Wyze change log firmware”. I also have some bookmarks to get there but I find googling it gets me there quicker.

Great to know, THANKS. Now if I can only figure out why it doesn’t detect that I need the update. But that’s a whole diff subject.

THANKS again! -Tim

Yes, I have both Android and iOS. I use Android as my Daily Driver.

They are moving v3 into full production. I have an ipad and haven’t been able to go back to v2.5.0.9 a my android devices are. But make sure to turn sori updating in every device-firmware page of every device or toto end up as v3 all over the place as it seems it’s set up to auto update when they send out an update. I suggest you look into the TP-LINK DEVICES better cheaper Bigger sd card. Up yours wyze!!
