It slips under the siding and since it’s curved at the back, uses itSelf as leverage and you can right the screws to adjust the angle of the bracket as well as the angle of the camera

They were 2 for 23$ or one for 14$ They use the screw in the bottom of the camera vs the magnet base

Does the column that meets the plate rotate at all so you can achieve weirder angles? or is it fixed?

Yes that will rotate and you can turn the camera on the screw mount as well

@Ken.S It seems solid. I will prob try it under the soffit as well and see if it holds there. Maybe use a fishing line as a safety measure so it doesnt hit the ground

But seriously, I have a couple scheduled to arrive soon to hang some different things, and a safety leash is a great idea.

It’s currently mounted here. I think I may try to move it up a little higher to see if I can get a better angle. Right now it picks me up walking away

So I have vertical siding and I was able to successfully use this same mount. I just kinda had to wedge it in at an angle.
