Update:
Finally, I stumbled upon the solution purely by accident. As a lost resort, I reset the Android settings - System > Reset Network Settings > Wifi, Bluetooth. In addition, I deleted all System caches.
Even with that, the Wyzeband would not connect. I did another reboot of the Wyzeband and lo and behold - the Wyzeband finally sync’d to the Wyzeapp.
I know that this may not be directly related to the Wyzeband. However, Wyze owes it to their loyal user community to respond to these issues. Just go through the Wyze and Reddit forums and users are expressing their frustrations over Wyzelock’s intermittent issues.
I have renewed my faith back in Wyze product - but please, please - be more responsive. If this situation continues, users will leave in droves and this is not something we want.
Lastly, I sincerely hope Wyze is not looking for an acquisition as I would hate my investment and efforts go in vain (at least for the next three years!
I am getting frustrated with my Wyzeband. When I try and connect the Wyzeband to the Wyze app (via bluetooth), it is not able to connect. When I go into Wyze App settings for Wyzeband abd try and reboot the device, it gives a cryptic, grammatically incorrect error: “This device is unbind”.
More importantly, the device cannot operate in solo mode - it is now completely dead except for the initial icon startup.
I cannot delete the device in the Wyze app to start over. With no help coming from Wyze tech support so far, can someone in the Wyze forum please help me.
FYI: I am still a fan of Wyze - but this and issues with Wyzelock are getting to me. The family refuses to use Wyzelock and rightfully so. I was told by them to go to a real lock making company like Yale or others - but I thought that Wyze would do their due diligence before shipping product out. It appears we are all guinea pigs so that they can iron out kinks in the design - I hope I am wrong. But the lack of acceptance of issues, transparency and delays in responses is forcing me to reconsider my faith in Wyze. Feedback is welcome!!
Update: I finally found how to delete the Wyzeband from the Wyze app. But even with this, the Wyzeband is refusing to connect. I am using Android 9 on my Blu G9 pro mobile phone.
I even reset my Bluetooth settings and cache - still no joy!!
I’m on IOS, but on mine I have to force close the app, go into Bluetooth and force it to “forget” the band , then restart the app and re-add the Band.
Thank you – I did the same with Android OS - but I cannot replicate your success.
