My cameras do not record events and i can not do playback. I have event notifications on and it only works while i am at home near my cameras. What is the point if i am at home and can monitor my home myself. Amazon put a package on my porch while i was gone and nothing from my camera. I get home and it blows up my phone with motion detection. I have my cell data turned on for Wyze. I think Wyze wants us to pay more $$. and get Cam plus unlimited.
I’ve reset and restarted. Setting for events and notifications are enabled as they should. I have cam plus. Livestream works and tracks movement but only on Livestream. I do not use an SD card. I have 2 other Wyze cams (different models) all with the same settings and they work as expected.
@felipe - It sounds like the cams are not attached to your Cam+ license. Is it unlimited or per camera? All your activity, except livestreaming, would be cloud dependent and need Cam+. In the device list, do the cams have the Cam+ shield on the cam image? If not, not attached to Cam+ license. If yes, you may have a connection issue with Wyze/AWS servers. You may have defective cams. You did not confirm if you have manually factory reset, deleted completely from the app and setup again like new.
Depending on your reply, I’ll consider pulling the sdcard out of 1 of my BCP’s to see if I get your issues.
Hi @felipe and whoever is having the same issue,
Is your issue that the BCP doesn’t record any Cam Plus events or send you any notifications? It’d be tricky if you don’t have an SD card in the camera, because the log files are removed every time the camera goes to sleep mode since it doesn’t have a storage to write the log files to. I would suggest you use an SD card, and send me an app log after issue occurs with date & time when the camera should’ve triggered but didn’t. Then we could look up that info in your log files.

@WyzeLi - Thanks for responding. Saves me the effort of removing the sdcard from 1 of my BCP’s to help @felipe troubleshoot. Since I don’t operate any cams without sdcards, I don’t have his issue. Suspected that might have been the cause, but hesitated suggesting an expense he might not want to incur.
Thanks for the replies. The cam is connected to cam plus. I get that it might not store the video permanently without an SD card but it should still notify me as it did in the past. It should still turn on the spotlight and not even that works anymore. This used to work without any issues even without a card. I will try to once again remove the camera, reset and add it back.
