No prob, I’m sure that a lot of these nuanced problems will be resolved once webview is out of beta… but who knows when that will be,

I think it adds a lot of value to their platform so I hope its prioritized :crossed_fingers:

Same here. i just get the circle spinning

Only spinning circle for me as well!

If I have the web view up on a monitor, and something full screen opens over it, it completely signs me out of Wyze and I need to re log in to see my camera again… its super strange and inconvenient.

Didnt know how else to report a beta issue

There are a number of similar comments in the above thread. I imagine that like any utility you have to authenticate to, the service will have a timeout for security and utilization purposes, Will be interesting to see what the timeframe is once out of Beta.

The best we can hope for, is that someone monitors this forum. But since you rarely get any updates, status, or list of requirements being worked on, don’t hold your breath,

Live stream video won’t play on either of my V3 with cam+. Shows image from last recording and receive a timed out spinning wheel but stream never plays. Ad block turned off, tried both chrome and edge. Events tab seems to be ok and recordings play fine. Windows 11/latest drivers.

Thanks not having the time stamp was driving me nuts on my laptop. The webview on my Wyze Cam V3 stopped and I didn’t notice until I woke up this morning. This sure fixed that problem since I can now see the time and date and know the program is running

I have a Wyze Camv3 and the video doorbell and I cannot get the webstream to work outside on my home network. All I get is the spinning wheel when trying to view from work. Same result in any browser used.

Awesome! glad to see some people using these scripts

Agreed, there needs to be a way to embed the feed! at least locally.

This would be a perfect solution instead of tinycam Pro since for some reason that webserver seems to go offline on its own after a couple days.

I added Cam Plus to my Wyze Cam Outdoor last week, and am looking forward to using Webview. I understand that live streaming is not supported on battery operated devices, but for now just want to look at Events to see if anyone was at my door.

When I click an event to view it, the site displays an error, " Hang on! This requires Cam Plus for now." If I click the “Subscribe to Cam Plus” button, it recognizes that I already have it. Not sure if this is a site-wide issue or something with my account. Has anyone else experienced it?

Works great for my 2 CamPlus cameras and running on Brave with Shields up! WYZE keeps on killing it with improvements, features, and products!

I concur with this recommendation. Webview is a great addition to the Wyze cam features.
Thanks, G. Cole

Sorry. You can’t look at a web view of your outdoor cameras. I have three and was looking forward to seeing them all on one screen. The excuse is that it will wear the batteries down too quickly. I wouldn’t be viewing them any more than I do now, so the battery excuse doesn’t hold water. They need to allow us to use the web view and let us deal with the “battery issue.”

live view worked for a bit but now all I get is “Full authentication is required to access this resource”. I have TEN wyze cams with 4 of them on the plan… sorta pisses me off. when it works it’s great. hasn’t worked for weeks and wyze is silent …

Can’t wait for this feature to be fully operational. So thankful that Wyze is working on a web based stream. I have just today learned about this and tried it on my PC (Chrome and Edge) and through Safari on my iPhone. None of the three browsers are working. I just get a spinning circle. I have Cam Pro Plus on a Wyze Cam v3.

I have only one camera of 6 on Cam Pro Plus. The rest are not subscribed. They are all in a group. Would it help to remove the camera with Plus from the group?

I am able to view my v2 and v3 cameras in most browsers but Firefox won’t display any of them and none of the browsers can view my doorbell camera.

All browsers are reporting a 404 error for the doorbell camera during a request to a https://webrtc.api.wyze.com/signaling/device/###?use_trickle=true URL

Firefox is reporting:
WebRTC: Using more than two STUN/TURN servers slows down discovery
WebRTC: Using five or more STUN/TURN servers causes problems

I also tried testing with the TOR browser but couldn’t even sign in.

Firefox: 97.0.1 (64-bit)
Chrome: Version 98.0.4758.102 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Edge: Version 98.0.1108.62 (Official build) (64-bit)
Tor: 11.0.4 (based on Mozilla Firefox 91.5.0esr) (64-bit)

I had same problems too, But however is still on beta stages… on Wyze Webview… But Wyze apps still perfectly fine…
