Wyze warranty doesn't seem quite right - Wyze Cam Outdoor v2

I bought the kit about 6 months ago and the base station no longer reads sd cards. I contacted support and they generated a giftcard and send me a link for a replacement base station.

The base station is out of stock, and when I asked again, they do not know when it will be back.

This type of warranty for a product does not seem right, and feels like they don’t know when the replacement part will be back in stock, but here’s a gift card and off to you to the ether.

So what if it doesn’t come back in stock? What if it does, and I miss the oppurtunity to purchase it? It wouldn’t irk me so much if this was a warranty issue.
