Wyze wall switch

Really? I was assuming there had to be a dimmer version coming. What a wasted opportunity. Without dimmer functionality it’s arguably overpriced too. :frowning:

I don’t really care if it acts as a physical dimmer, though that would be a nice feature for a lot of people.

More concerned about whether & how it might act as a smart dimmer, e.g., a long press on the upper half programmatically brightens associated Wyze bulbs/strips, long press down programmatically dims those lights. Other than turning the Wyze lights On & Off that way, that seems like the second most common possible lighting use case.

Even if the hardware doesn’t physically support the concept of an “up” or “down” button, a single-tap to put it in Dim, Double tap to put it in Brighten, and long press to ramp should be do-able.

Just what I was saying in the other thread.

I’d be happy with just a preprogrammed light level through the app and then have it operate the standard smart switch. The recessed lighting on the outside of my house is way too bright imo. I would have ordered 3 sets of them today if it had this functionality

Do you have to use their face plate, or will it fit into a standard faceplate for Leviton type rocker switches?

How much did you pay at Home Depot for the switch?
Wyze’s shop online charges about $15 per switch after tax and shipping.

I’ll stick with Kasa until we get 3-way and dimmer. I got a bunch to swap out someday, but for now, I use with Alexa with switches mostly so no need.

Thanks! They literally just showed up at my local HD today! $14.97 with 31 in stock. No need to pre-order through Wyze if I wanted any!

31 must be the standard amount, as that is exactly the number my local HD showed, and when I checked the 3 other locations in the region, they also showed 31.

Is there a wishlist for a 3 or 4-way Wyze switch? Since this single-pole is now delivered, 3-way should have it’s own wishlist. Can someone link to it?

3-Way below. Don’t see 4-Way.

I hope Wyze is working on a 3 way switch. Seems logical to add that type of product to their line. Will be first in line when it’s anounced.
Thanks Wyze for all your great products. Love um!

Your last 2 points are pretty standard options with what is on the market. Your first one should already be doable, but would need a door sensor to work in order to have a trigger.
