WYZE VIDEO DOORBELL - Help

Hello,

I recently installed a WYZE video doorbell. The setup was easy and everything is functioning fine. The problem that is occurring now is that my wireless Chamberlain door opener will not function at the same distance as it did prior. When I disconnect the power from the video doorbell, the door opener functions as it did before. The door opener was manufactured in 2011 and I tried a new control and it stays the same. Known problem. Wyze will not fix this. You might try this approach.

To follow up for anyone else, swapping my garage door wall unit with an 889LM fixed this issue for me. I guess it uses different frequencies that are less likely to be interfered with by electronic devices. Yes this is a wall unit, not the garage drive itself, but it works because it can directly relay to remotes itself, bypassing the drive unit. Thank You very much for the recommendations and valuable information. I’m glad that I didn’t purchase a new garage opener or controls. I did purchase a MY Q smart garage hub. This worked well and it gave me some additional features that I always wanted. $30.00. I still feel that WYZE products are the best and I will continue to support them 100%.
