Wyze Vacuum major design flaw

I bought 3 cordless vacuums. There is a major manufacturing flaw rendering the vacuum useless. The trash and particle container has a 1/8 inch gap around door that opens to empty the trash. The good news it you don’t have to open it because it all falls out of the gap. Very poor quality control. We need a refund!

Looks like you threw away your gasket when you emptied the bin. If you can’t find the gasket near where you opened the vacuum or in the trash, then call Customer Service for a replacement:

Add another Wyze product to the recycling center. If you search the threads…No one is listing…you are directed to contact support.

You did read that the OP tossed out the rubber gasket that was supposed to fill the gap thereby proving it wasn’t a design flaw didn’t you?

I also have that vacuum…it’s a design flaw that did not go thru QC. Even a Wal-Mart special does not have parts that fall out.

Gaskets are designed to be removable and replaceable.

My 2 Dyson’s do not have this Design Flaw. Filters are washable but I have not seen gaskets that fall out like the Wyze.

Gaskets are also designed to stay in place and not easily fall out. This is Clearly a design flaw and Wyze or whoever they hired to test this product, never tried emptying the bin.

It’s a design flaw. Once they are covered in dust, they fall out. I have 3 vacuums and 2 have had the gasket fall out in the trash. Had to use weather stripping. Bad design

Hey, FWIW, I found a suitable replacement gasket o-ring and have them for sale for $8:

If you haven’t lost yours yet, use some hot glue to attach it now or you WILL lose it in the future!

That’s great and all but we shouldn’t have to spend our money to fix their design flaw.

Managing Wyze product nuances becomes a full time job. Too many issues with everything. Ain’t nobody got time for that.
