Did you not recommend updating the firmware because of it being a new install? I have v3Pro’s and they all updated with the new firmware without issues. Why not suggest waiting a month or 2 then update as opposed to not updating at all. Just an observation.

I would update my V3 Pro IF WYZE post on the forum that they found and fixed the issue of the March firmware bricking numerous members cams. The March 2025 Firmware update probably killed it, send it back. My V3 PRO is using the October 2024 firmware and works just fine. If you get another V3 PRO don’t update the firmware later than the October 2024 version and make sure the firmware auto update for the cam is turned OFF.
