Wyze v3 and Ambient Weather Network (weather cam question)

Hi! So, I’d like to connect my v3 as my Ambient weather cam. I have a weather station to monitor our crazy Nebraska weather and it would be very cool to catch said crazy weather, which has actually included tornadoes viewable in my backyard :tornado:. In order to do so, I need either FTP or a
URL as explained here. After a bit of poking AND reaching out to Wyze support, it looks like both solutions I considered (RTSP which was considered a Beta feature and is now unavailable, though I do have the link to the download via a YT video; and the Webview URL, which doesn’t have a unique link available) won’t work. Has anyone successfully linked their Wyze v3 with the Ambient Weather Network and/or have any other ideas for me other than “add it as a wishlist item” (support’s suggestion, which I guess I should do as well)?

Hey, I finally gave up and went with the Ambient Cam. Keep in mind that you will need to focus on the sky with 80% coverage, all the time. It kind of negates a Wyze cam for anything but viewing the sky. It has to be approved by someone at Ambient because the feed goes to them and other users. I know it isn’t what you wanted to hear but, right now, it is the only solution.

Possibly TinyCam Pro or the wz_mini_hack.

Thanks for a very thorough answer to this! I have an Ambient weather station and am just now discovering Wyze cameras and wanted to know if they’d work together. Your answer is exactly what I was looking for. I’ll look into the Ambient Cam.
Thanks very much!
