Wyze ultra scale is ultra unreliable

I’ve been using this scale for the last six months and the reproducibility of measurements is +/- 2 pounds at best, If you take multiple measurements you’re gonna get multiple results, Which can vary by as much 2 pounds.

Something has also changed, with The scale no longer talking to my bluetooth phone app without the phone first being turned on. Not sure what has changed, but I used to be able to have the scale transmit to my phone previous measurements. But now the phone has to always be turned on f.or me to receive the bluetooth data period

Has anyone else had this issue?

It sounds like the lower band ir password of your Wifi changed. Try re-entering them.

My Wyze Ultra Scale, which I purchased about a month ago, seems unreliable, too. It says that I have 5% body fat, which is highly unlikely. (It’s not in athletic mode). My old Tanita scale had me at about 15% body fat. Also, while it had been recording my weight within a pound or so of variation from day to day, the past two days my weight has suddenly jumped by 4 pounds. Very disappointing.
