My Scale X has been working perfectly for two years and all of a sudden this week it has stopped reading any body measurements, only weight. I have reset it (taken batteries out) and even tried to delete it and reload it on the app, but it’s still not working. I obviously know how to use it (dry feet, don’t get off too long etc) because it has been reading my measurements fine up until now. Please can anyone help?
My brand new Scale S just delivered today only measures my weight. No biometrics. How do I get n touch with a customer service representative to walk me thru step by step to make it work?
My original scale was doing the same thing before it stopped connecting. Now the brand new Scale S only captures weight and nothing else. I made sure my feet were damp and my knees were not touching, but still get the error message.
Come on, Wyze… Do better before I have to return the new scale!
Yup and my turn after the biometrics starting getting erratic.Pretty new ultra scale here and the last week it’s not measuring biometrics at all telling me I need to stand on it longer, while on standing on it ![]()
So, 2 weeks with no reply from Wyze on this issue. Ill give them 1 more week to resolve it before I return the Scale S to Amazon, and go with another brand.
DO BETTER, WYZE! YOUR TECH SUPPORT HAS BECOME QUITE TERRIBLE.
Just spent over an hour on tech support chat with Wyze. This is the 2nd defective scale I’ve received from them. I’m returning this to Amazon, and am done with Wyze hardware. I’m even going to replace al my Wyze cameras, because I just don’t think I can trust them any more.
Farewell, Wyze. You used to be a great value, but now you’re just junk hardware.
Same problem: scale worked fine for a few weeks; now only registering weight & BMI, not muscle mass, body fat, visceral fat etc. Launching the app says I have “unclaimed” measurements from another user??? Which I have only ever had one user, so what is that about?
No obvious way of rebooting the device, short of yoinking the batteries, which I’m about to try.
Annoyed at banner ads in app, which is some off-brand, Govee-level stuff. You know how you get people hooked into your ecosystem of products? Don’t annoy them with ads! Make launching your app an experience that delights users instead of repelling them.
Annoyed at needing to connect to a 2.4 GHz network only, in the year 2025. Get with the program! Wi-Fi 7 is a thing. 6 GHz is a thing. Matter and Thread are both things.
Annoyed that weight measurements do NOT sync to Apple Health right after using the scale (the way it does with other brands of scales that have Wi-Fi). You have to launch the Wyze app, and then your measurements flow into Apple Health.
I was willing to look past the annoyances until the scale stopped reporting muscle mass etc. but now I will be looking to spend a little more on a scale for one that isn’t aggravating at every turn.
So just an FYI… Because I see the whole “it’s 202X, and still 2.4Ghz” argument always being made… Unfortunately I think folks just think the higher Ghz is better. Truth, yes, it’s faster, but for smart devices, 5Ghz is actually not good and 6Ghz is actually worse. The higher the Ghz, the faster the speed, yes, but that higher frequency is less able to travel through walls and obstacles while lower frequency, like 2.4 Ghz is slower, but offers a greater range through walls… That’s why, even in 2025, many smart devices, like lights, outlets, switches, and yes, even scales still rely on the 2.4 Ghz… because often these devices are spread throughout the home and many don’t have as direct and uninterrupted line of sight to your router. You’d have connection issues all the time at 5 Ghz and even worse at 6Ghz. plus, these devices are far from needing the speed that the higher Ghz can provide, which is really one of it’s only few benefits. Sure, maybe your scale is just a few feet from your router, but that would just be your set up… Others may have the scale in an upstairs bathroom at one of their home while their router is in a family room or tech-cabinet on the floor below them and on the other side of the house. I just thought I’d shed some light on this because, as I said, I see people making that argument a lot.
