Wyze Switch not connecting to the app

I bought a 2nd Wyze wall switch, the first one works great as do all the Wyze plugs and led bulbs. This 2nd switch however won’t connect to my app. I did all the steps, the app found the switch but when I got to where I name the switch it didn’t add. The switch still works manually. I reset the switch and followed the same procedure but now when I try to name it, the app says I have already added this switch to the network. Help!

I’m having the same issue trying to install my first of 6 switches.

Here what i figured out to get it to work. It would fail at naming on my Samsung S23. But was able to use my daughter’s S20 to add it. Did firmware update to 1.2.28 then deleted device. Now it works fine added with my S23. Hope this helps.

I did just what you suggested. Added the switch using my wife’s phone and it added just fine. Did the firmware update and all is working now.

I have the same situation but only have the s23 phone, how else could I get it to finish setup?

I was able to resolve this by selecting my network that is only 2.4 vs one that is both 2.4 and 5.

Have a tablet or anything else you can download the Wyze app to?
