Any idea who the manufacturer is for the KN95 mask? I am worried it is on this list and did not test well…or is not on the list at all.

Thank you so much!

One follow-up question. I can’t find Tianjin Fushen science and technology co. Ltd. anywhere to find the results of either their authorized tests or hopefully their recent CDC test. Could they go by a different name? More generally, can you please share the kn95 test results?

Thanks again!

@stlhoosier: I’m not a Wyze employee and I have no access to anything beyond the photos I took of the box from the masks that I ordered.

Have the KN95 respirators being sold by Wyze been tested? Who is the manufacturer?

Here is the CDC web-page (updated 5/8/20) that shows mask/respirator test results for several manufactures. Even though this is a material only test, some tested very poorly.

An important quote from the CDC page:
Most of these products have an ear loop design. NIOSH-approved N95s typically have head bands. Furthermore, limited assessment of ear loop designs, indicate difficulty achieving a proper fit. While filter efficiency shows how well the filter media performs, users must ensure a proper fit is achieved.

Yes a concern after hearing about clones coming out of China.
During a search I stumbled on the above and this info also …

Who is the manufacturer?
Hope someone can shed more light on this ?

@UserCustomerGwen

The New York article predates the CDC report that I linked to. The CDC realized that many masks marked KN95 (self designated) were inadequate and did some testing.

Just received my N95 masks and I am very happy with them.
Well worth the wait.
Thank you Wyze.

If it’s from iHealth it could be from any number of factories from China…fair warning… with ALL different testing results listed or not by the CDC.

It is against the CC company policy to bill before ship. They are really screwing up their logistics. Fair quality h/w, poor s/w, and now they are money grabbing for mask- I now see them for what they are, money-grabbing opportunists not scrappy engineers. I’ll start clicking on all the paid ads I see for them.

Those Livocares are NOT the ones currently illustrated on the Wyze shop; they show "Bo’er"s with the center seam. I prefer the Livocares so I ordered a second batch from the distributor.

Not sure what you are talking about, mine are just about identical to the picture.

Mine are exactly like the photo as well.
Thank you Wyze for what you are doing.

Hum … ?

This is the one on the Wyze shop web page right now.

He was talking about the Livocare surgical masks, not the KN95 iHealth masks.

I was responding directly to Loki’s post picturing the Livocare KN95 masks that both Wyze and iHealth sold. Wyze no longer appears to. Not sure why you are switching subjects to the surgical masks.
