*WYZE PLEASE RESPOND* Now all my WyzeCam V3 are stuck Getting Video Data 3/3

Not sure why anyone would waste their time to respond and boohoo a fix to a problem but to prove my point, I left the beta program and went back to the production app version 2.16.23, downgraded the firmware to one of my v3s and sure enough the new 4.36.0.228 firmware is available to install.

So regardless of what the firmware webpage says, this firmware fix is available to anyone.

@Ken.S You are extremely thorough. Extremely lol . But something must have cashed the version, because there are non beta users over on reddit that don’t see the new version.

You mean every non-beta user, including myself? As mentioned, the beta firmware being discussed has not been released despite what others think and are attempting to prove.

Again, a new WYZE bug has been uncovered. Apparently even if you leave the beta program you have access to beta firmware. Again, something impacting only people that were part of the beta program to begin with. Here is a screen shot from my phone taken less than 5 minutes ago. Notice the v3 image next to “Street View” and the words “up to date” as well as the version?

WYZE will not release firmware for public consumption without updating the firmware release notes page.

Yes, and you were also part of the beta program when the beta firmware was released to the beta team.

How do you get the new firmware? My V3 still says my firmware is “up to date” but shows the latest version as 4.17.0.186

Hello and welcome to the WYZE forums. The firmware you are referencing (v4.17.0.186) is for the WYZE outdoor cam and not the WYZE v3 cam.

The current version of firmware for the outdoor cam is what you’re running.

Thanks for clarifying. Im just trying to resolve my issue of not being able to view events and receiving “error code 7” when trying to do so.
