Can you tell me if they have updated yet?
Good luck getting your OG cams to work with the latest update to the IOS App.
Nothing seems to be done to fix all the problems since the update.
Howdy, I downloaded the user manual for that piece of hardware. Within section 3.1c, (page 39/40) the manual discusses enabling an IoT WiFi network. I am curious, have you tried enabling that SSID and connecting your camera to the IoT SSID/network? I am not sure if this will resolve the issue, but its worth a shot. The appliance may be doing something differently internally with that IoT SSID?

Update for everyone, I took the cameras over to a family members house and was able to get them updated without issue. For some reason even though they updated successfully they said they failed both in the app and vocally. But once you close the app and go back in they are on the latest version. I reset them and put them on the dumb Verizon WiFi and they are working fine so far. We will see what happens then they need an update.
I will definitely give that a try if they don’t update in the future.
Yeah you’re probably right. When I tested it’s not very fast and the latency is pretty bad.

You may want to turn off automatic updates.
If you receive a notification that new firmware is available you can decide if you want to update manually.
