I’ve been the owner of Wyze Lock Bolt for a couple years now. Today, we got two exterior doors replaced. While the old doors had a wood edge that you could chisel, and fit the square latch faceplate, the new door is metal and only supports drive-in latches. Can I convert the Wyze latch by prying off the square faceplate? If not, is there any other solution or alternate latch I can use which will fit?
This one looks similar and can be converted from square latch plate to drive-in latch plate: Dexter by Schlage 16-068 Triple Option Adjustable Deadbolt Latch
EDIT: I actually think this might be a solution. I just ordered it and it appears to work with the Aqura u100 digital locks. But it looks similar to the Wyze Lock Bolt latch.
Has anyone figured this out successfully?

Did you resolve this? I’m running into the same issue, trying to install into a steel door that previously had a schlage press in faceplate.
I purchased the second latch that I linked to in the EDIT of my original post. It does not work, unfortunately. The holes through the latch are too small. I thought about drilling it out to fit, but looks like doing so would damage or at least interfere with the locking mechanism. Too bad. Looks like I am going to have to pivot away from the Wyze Lock Bolt unless another solution is found.
I hate having so many different apps for home technologies, but I might have to cave and add another unless a solution can be found.
I don’t have any experience with the original Lock Bolt, but Mod/hack for required drive-in deadbolt - #4 by hartburn.ah offers a solution that works for Palm Lock and should work for Lock Bolt v2. If Lock Bolt has the same kind of tailpiece (the diagrams in its Quick Start Guide indicate that it does), then I would expect a solution like this to work for the original Lock Bolt.
I still believe that Wyze should offer a deadbolt latch that will work with a wider variety of doors, including those that use a drive-in latch, so I plan to mention this to someone at Wyze.
