Can the Wyze Light Strip Pro be used outdoors as long as connectors, microphone & power adapter are protected inside?
It looks like the actual color strip is enclosed in clear plastic?
Can it? Yes. It’s yours, and you can do whatever you want with it.
Should it? Officially, no:
Even used indoors, I’ve noticed some cracks in the rubbery epoxy coating over time. I wouldn’t trust it to be weatherproof at all, but I imagine if you’re careful with it and keep it dry (I imagine you’re asking about using it for seasonal effect), then you might have decent results. I believe that @K6CCC has a lot of experience with different kinds of light strips for outdoor shows, so I’d be interested in his input.
