Very obvious from the comments but a pretty misleading post in my opinion. Teasing a feature beta that the majority of us cant even apply for? I don’t expect all betas to be public but teasing us in the beta app with new icons and a subscription i cant sign up for then this post with no action available? Im deep in the Wyze ecosystem but i suggest looking at how competitors like Eufy are conducting betas nand gathering feedback. They are pretty streamlined on discord and have very active communities and communication channels. Wyze is awesome and has a huge community dying to help, LET US HELP!
Let me get in touch with the team right now, I am going to send you a DM as I will possibly need some more info to track this down.
@WyzeJasonJ,
I seem to be having the same problem now. I can’t assign any cameras to my Cam Plus Unlimited plan, the Account Page on Wyze Web App tells me I have a plan but 0 cameras on the plan. It lists all my cams but nothing happens when I click on them. I have a couple of new cams and a couple of test cams and when I add them from the App it says they are added but if I try to use them I go back thru the same loop.
I am getting over 12 second events on cams that indicate thru the clear shield on top of cam home screen that I have it on that cam if I click on the shield I get the “Add Cam Plus” screen like I do for new cams.
Seems like I am paying and renewal is not until Sept. 2025. Definitely something funky here!
"Annual Plan — Web subscription
All your compatible cameras have been updated to unlock cloud video recording, AI detections, and facial recognition. Plus, view livestream and past Events on the web!"
Cameras on the plan (0)"
followed by a list of all my cams.
Tomp
I think we got moved to a different service for 2 weeks and then it will revert back after the test
I was finally able to find a version of the latest beta to side load and I can verify that I’m able to set rules again despite not showing my subscription. So that’s an upside I thought it was going to affect that quite a bit because I wasn’t able to do it before. Right now all I can’t do is view on the live web portal.
Having the exact same issue now. Any chance we can get out of the beta sooner than the 2 week duration? I really need the Wyze Web Live back.
When I got added to the Wyze Intelligence beta I lost all Cam Unlimited features on all cameras. My V3 had 12 sec recording and 5 min cooldown and my V4 had image only capture in the events page. Personally, that would’ve hindered this beta testing. Again, my opinion Wyze should’ve left the existing subscription alone and just added the new Unlimited Pro for testing only.
EDIT: Most importantly, Wyze should’ve communicated what was going to happen once we got added to the beta, not let us wonder and freak out
Forgot to mention that - my Web access shows all locked cams.
So, like everyone else, I am having same issues with cam plus unlimited and the web view not working and have the service with no cans on it. I did notice that a subscription for cam plus pro is on my account until jan 15, along with my cam plus unlimited.
It was a busy tine of year so maybe i missed the email from Wyze or they never sent it. Anyway just the otherday i had time to look and see what was going on. If it wasnt for thos thread I’d have no clue. They should have asked before just changing everything about how my stuff and account is working!!
Now that off my chest, the descriptive notifications are kinda funny. Fairly accurate at what is in the vid. Some are really detailed with names on side of trucks, calling out my garbage truck dumping my cans, and my more things, feels kinda gimmicky but at least it can tell there are packed cars in my driveway separate from and including other motion like a person walking by.
When i figured out what was going on i turned notifications back on. So with this i get 2 different notifications for each, regular notifications and the new ones, so i now get like 200 notifications in an hour. So when i cant stand it any longer im shutting notifications back off. Untill then it is fun reading the descriptions of the video events.
The descriptive alerts seem to be getting better. We have a camera in our pantry to catch the kids getting the last of something and leaving empty containers in the pantry. The other day, the wife and I were looking for corn. Later, I got a descriptive alert saying, “a couple searches for corn in the pantry”.
My only issue. I would like to be able to suppress notifications for pets and for our vehicles. We have 5 cats and a dog, and I get probably 100s of alerts every hour that there are pets in the pantry. I also get an alert that our cars are still parked in the driveway several times a minute.
It seems impossible to keep notifications on for any camera inside a busy house. I just turn it off.
Too much chatter.
Agreed, they definitely need some filtering options for the notifications. If they can figure that out, it will be awesome.
During testing, I set up a Detection Zone to exclude a vehicle that’s almost always parked in the same place, and that helped me a lot. If your cars move quite a bit, though, then that might not help much.
