I have a WYZE Floodlight Camera v2 installed over the garage gate, and a WYZE Cam v4 installed over the porch. Both cameras look in about the same direction. For dozens of events recorded by the Cam v4, the Floodlight Camera records one – like one a day or one for a few days. I mean the events in my Cam Plus subscription (I haven’t installed an SD card yet).
The motion sensor of the Floodlight Camera works, since the lights go on. It also provides the live view.
I see standard advices to do this and that, but since it records sometimes, the problem is hardly in the settings. I will appreciate information from people who encountered this problem and managed to overcome it.
I also see the last report similar to mine was posted in October 2024. Is this camera really near-perfect, and it was just unlucky I who bought a defective one?
