Wyze Doorbell v2 chime controller not working

I still like my Video Doorbell v2, especially since I rewired my mechanical chime after discovering that the original wiring had been reversed on the terminals (probably at the time the house was built). I wonder if that’s the real issue with some of these doorbell problems that seem to have been resolved by @MrTofuDragon’s suggestion. That probably isn’t something I would’ve thought to test/remediate if I hadn’t seen @bradsfish’s post about it.
