I can’t seem to get my other Wyze Cams (V4, V3) to be recognized under the CHIME Setting so I can get them to ring when the Doorbell V4 is Pressed. Anybody got that setup yet?
Currently, the rule to ring a camera, not turn the Siren on, only functions on the Cam OG and the Cam Pan V3, I believe.
The V4 and V3 cameras do not allow for the Ring Action at this time.
Is the ring or chime feature what is on the next update please?
I would like to have my V3 garage cam chime if motion is detected when I am in the
I’m Home mode, When I am in the I’m away mode the siren works well currently.

Not sure what is next as this is a User to User forum, I am not a Wyze employee but a forum moderator. At times, I can escalate issues.
But to find out what is coming is something Wyze limits to internal staff only.
Wish I could provide you with a better answer, but unfortunately, I can’t.
The chime function for a camera (or just make the siren a different sound) would be nice. One could just leave a new V3 or V4 cam on its own to announce it had detected when the main wyze system was in the Home or unarmed mode.
Did I miss a product? VDB v1, VDB v2 and VDB Pro. I have not seen a Wyze product for a DB v4. Did the poster err with the DB version or did I miss a new product introduction?
I’m inclined to interpret it as a mistake.
My understanding of the availability of this feature comports with @spamoni’s post. By that I mean that I’ve been able to get OG and Pan v3 cameras to function as accessory chimes by selecting the appropriate options in the settings for the Video Doorbell v2—not by using Rules (though I’m aware of the “Ring” Rule Action, as well).
It my particular case, once I enabled that feature, I’ve so far been unable to disable it. That’s a minor annoyance that I can live with for now, hoping that it’ll be ironed out in future app/firmware updates.
My post refers to the Wyze Doorbell V2 using V3/V4 Cams for Chime function.
