Clicked Place Order button and have had a solid black bar in the middle of the screen for 20 minutes now. Have not hit refresh because i feel I’ll lose any chance. I’m starting to think I have already lost any chance! Very Sad/BAD Experience!!!
If you still have a black bar on the screen, I think that means you didn’t make the cutoff. We apologize for the experience many people had and I’ve been taking notes of the issues, what can be improved, and the feedback folks have been putting in. We tried a lot of new things today. Some worked well and some did not. So in the future, we’ll be able to do things like this better! 
But in the meantime, we still have some Wyze Cars up for grabs through these contests! So if you didn’t get one that was for sale on the site, please make sure you participate and that you vote for other people’s car names! Remember that there are 5 other contests going right now! Some constructive feedback for future contests: consider that most liked posts are not necessarily the best way to decide this.
- Some people refuse to like others’ posts because then that hurts their own chances, so then fewer people vote than otherwise would have.
- Some people get family or friends to like their post, or fake accounts, and those are more likely to win, and not necessarily the BEST ones.
- Whoever posts within the first few posts (earliest) are more likely to get more exposure and thus more likely to get the most number of votes (even if not the highest percentage per view). This makes it unfair to some of the people who had to work when it first launches, and couldn’t submit their ideas until it’s so late that they get less exposure and fewer votes on average.
I recommend that you instead have a select committee vote on their favorites, maybe collect a bunch and give your employees a day to vote on their favorites, or maybe tell the mods/mavens to pick their top 5 or something like that. You can take the best and put them into a poll in one of the closed groups,. On Reddit, they allow you to randomize the options every time so each person views the options in a different order. There are lots of fair way to do this that can cut out most of the issues with the above 3 problems.
Just something to consider so all your fans feel like they have an equal opportunity. It was a fun game. I put in submissions in 2 different places. Might look at the others, but thanks for this idea, it was fun (after weeding all the sour grapes at least)
