I have 6 Wyze cams total at 2 different locations. We got Starlink internet about 6 months ago at one location and have two cameras there connected wirelessly. The 2 cameras connected to Starlink with no issues. For the last month or so, I’ve had problems viewing the live stream for all 6 of my cameras on my iPhone when it is connected to the Starlink Wi-Fi. When I turn off Wi-Fi on my phone, live stream on the cameras works fine using my cellular data. By accident I discovered that the live feeds also play fine when the phone is connected to the Starlink Wi-Fi and my VPN is enabled on my phone. Why would the live feeds load with Starlink Wi-Fi only with the vpn enabled and not when it’s off?
It sounds like the starlink router or maybe they themselves are blocking something. If you can’t view the two “local” cams even when on the same wifi, then it would imply they’re blocking something related to your app authenticating with Wyze.
VPN and cellular data would both bypass those blocks.
I’d start by checking the starlink router and see if there is anything in there where you can select how strict the security is or something along those lines. Sometimes valid services get added to blacklists due to false positives so something like that may be in play here.

I think @Sam_Bam has some experience with Starlink, so perhaps your fellow Forum member will share some input.
I can’t be much help here. I can’t test to see if mine is working properly without undoing stuff that works already. I use Starlink as my second ISP. It of course has its own router, and its on WiFi. That WiFi network has none of my Wyze cams on it.

Thanks for the replies. Whatever the cause, it seems to be intermittent. Live feed is working fine today on the Starlink Wi-Fi without the vpn connected.
