I just now flashed 3 Pan V3s back to 4800 then updated them to current “normal “ lol, Beta release.
Definitely Fat and the only file on the SD.
Another tip, if doing more than one. I did three, is to turn off Micro SD recording or when it boots it’ll put trash files back on the SD when it restarts from flashing and mess things up for the next camera.
I don’t have a CPv3 anymore (I gave it away because salignment drifting and tracking motion instead of AI objects drive me crazy), but the only thing I would emphasize in addition to the above suggestions is to make sure you’re using a 32GB FAT32 SD Card. For some reason that’s critical sometimes.
I did order a 32gb SD card, they get one more try.
Altbough a 64gb card “sorta flashed” all three.
Then I might give mine away too. Nah, I’ll leave them mounted until they croak.
I got my three CpV3 to stay put mostly but tracking the garage door going up is nuts when there’s humans in the garage.
I also ordered another RLPro. Solid in Frigate & HAOS.
Training a Frigate+ model is a trip. lol
I put days into CPv3 RTSP , will give it one more little try and then replace them. ie; add parallel cameras that actually work in HAOS and Frigate.
I don’t necessarily need Pan Tilt where they’re located anyhow.
The other RTSP puzzle is, can I use the 3.9.0 (b727) app for RTSP? It shows up in advanced under all three CPv3s now. Guess I’ll find out. I’m not downloading the RTSP app again.
And all three are flashed back to standard Beta firmware. Ghosts RTSP bugs I guess. or b727 is a crossover to one app first attempt.
I deleted the RTSP app, resource hog.
I’ll also try one V4 RTSP, once, I have one they gave me, stuck IR, they didn’t want it back. No loss if that one gets fried.
I’ve got 4.52.9.5332, on my V4’s and suddenly I cannot stop “Vehicle Detected”, no matter how I try.
I un-check “Vehicle” under Smart Motion and save the settings. Then sometime later I start getting “Vehicle detected” notifications, again. I go into settings and Vehicle is CHECKED again? I have done this 3 or 4 times over the past few days… very strange.
[Mod Note]:Your post was merged to this Beta announcement topic for better visibility to Wyze.
I see that you note the use of beta firmware. Making a note of your app version might be a good idea, as well. If you see this issue reproduced after deselecting Vehicle notifications and confirming that it’s no longer checked in your settings, then I’d also be inclined to submit a log and note the Log ID in this topic.
