Trying to update my V4 Camera’s. Seem to be taking a long time using the Batch method. Will need to try one at a time.

Full on bulk including a couple V4s went fine here

Thanks - mine is still trying to update. Waiting to see. But glad it worked for you.

My updates are working now. I had to format my SD Cards. Not sure why, but they seem to be working

I can confirm this beta firmware 4.36.17.19 for Cam V3 (Floodlight) fixed the continuous microSD recording and playback issue. If you are still on firmware 4.36.17.10 that was released on August 11 2026, then I suggest you to update to this beta firmware. Please check the link below on how to become a beta tester to get access to this beta firmware for reference.

Alternatively, you can manually flash it yourself to firmware 4.36.16.6114 if you are uncomfortable with beta firmware. Based on other reports, it seems you can also call customer support and they can remotely roll back to firmware 4.36.16.7064 for you if it’s difficult to access your cameras physically. However, I never tried this before so YMMV.

Cam v4 doing the same as last firmware release. That is, it attempts to install over and over and never actually installs. Two of them doing the same.

When are we getting RTSP as promised for the v3pro. It’s been months and it is NEEDED. I’m gonna have to get a different camera off you can’t sort this.

Same. Cam v3, Pan v2 and Pan v3 updated without issue, but none of my v4s will update.

I can say that v..19 did not fix the abnormal playback speed on the v3 with floodlights. Try again Wyze.

Hi @scottsasa2 , thanks for the feedback. Could you please submit a log after reproducing the issue and send me the log ID? That would help the team investigate further. Thanks!
