None of my v4 cams will update successfully. I get the notice they need updating, I click update and it appears to start the process but it never completes.
What firmware? Last update was in March 2026.

Don’t do the update in the mass updater screen. Go directly to the camera and update it. It will work then.
As noted by @Earl.Automation the better option is to do it on the individual camera page, if that does not work let me know.
I have tried to update it in every possible location.
And it is not just limited to this one camera. I’ve had the same issue with my other V4 cameras.
Since this is a beta firmware, I would recommend reporting it in the thread for the beta firmware release.

My CAMS RTSP no longer works since updating to 4.52.17.13. The RTSP URLs I’m given don’t work, with or without them secured!

Did you ever get anywhere on this? I have the same issue with the same exact beta version. The update just hangs on all my V4s and never installs.
WTF, the app on my iPhone updated to the newest Beta firmware. Now, not only do I not have RTSP on my v4, but one of my v3 cams that has always had RTSP is no longer working, and I’ve tried to reset it up, but nothing happens but a spinning wheel. Not happy!

Not sure what happened but as I started digging into this they updated just now.
I physically restarted one of them and it updated. I then tried to update another and it worked (without a restart). So mine are updated now.
What’s odd is that they haven’t been using my DNS for the last few days No requests to my pihole from V4s. However I could see them talking directly to Google DNS which isn’t in my DHCP.
I have tried to update them a dozen times over the last few weeks. Restarted via the app didn’t help. Not sure what changed but they suddenly updated after posting my response.
Maybe try again now? Other factors are I use Unifi and that had an update recently. I also use a pihole but nothing was getting blocked since the V4s were using it.
