What’s New:
Updated 6 cameras using the firmware bulk updates page while away from home.
No issue and cameras continue to stream.
Will start testing once home.
Updated 4 Cam v4 cams, 2 via 2.50.x app and 2 via 3.0.x app. All 4 running well so far. Will give them 12 hours of continuous live streaming, then some restart, powercycle, WiFi cutoff and simulated Internet outage testing and another 12 hours of live streaming before updating additional v4 cams.
Of interesting note, unrelated to this beta firmware update: 2.50.x shows 2K resolution, 3.0.x has been updated to show 2.5K resolution on screen and in settings.
I only have 2 working V4s, updated both, I’ll also update the other 3rd V4, it had a stuck IR, who knows, might help.
Of interest so far is one of my V4s is detecting a hay baler across the street and approximately 50+ yards. Hasn’t ever picked up a car or tractor trailer which is about 5 yards closer. Good detection. Zoned it.
Perhaps a slow moving vehicle helped. Cars & trucks zip by at a good clip.
Both mine updated OK.
