Wyze Cam v3 Spotlight No Longer Being Recognized After Recent November Update!

My Wyze Cam v3 will no longer recognize the Spotlight since the recent November update. This is so frustrating! After the update, the spotlight was stuck being on. I turned off the power and turned it back on. Now the spotlight is permanently off and the Wyze Cam v3 is not detecting it in setting. I unplugged it and plugged the spotlight back without any luck! These update are frustrating when it breaks things!

Any advice to fix the issue?

Which one is it ?

The spotlight is the light accessory that connects to a stand alone v3 .

The floodlight is a v3 that’s mounted to the floodlight accessory

I meant spotlight. I erroneously said “floodlight”.

Did you ever get the camera to recognize the floodlight accessory?

I’ve had the exact same issue with my camera and spotlight for the past year. Submitted a support ticket but the response didn’t fix the issue. So the spotlight has been unplugged.

LakeRanger - I know what you mean. I had 2 spotlights and tried for months to get either of them to work. No luck. I finally just threw them in the trash and the frustration disappeared.

I bet they shipped with buggy beta firmware like mine. I know this is an older dead post but I just posted my findings.
