Wyze Cam V3 Pro connection issues

I spent the entire weeking trying to get my Cam v3 pro to connect and stay connected.

I’ve rebooted my router. I’ve tried turning off 5G. I’ve moved the camera to inside the house.

I’m able to connect it initially, but within 30 minutes or so it no longer can connect and I get either a timeout or an error code. Sometimes it’s a 90 sometimes a 23.

Any suggestions?

I’m expecting it to be a router issue that is manifesting as this. The Wyze cams are horrible when the router is doing something that messes up its connection to the internet. That tends to result in this kind of situation. If you’re not seeing blips elsewhere then yes it can still be a router issue. Its a complicated thing.

Potentially, it could be the cam firmware or the Wyze app (you should make sure both are fully up to date), but from experience, a networking related issue is probably at fault.

Potentially, there could be internet side things causing it from the ISP, the Wyze servers, or anything.

Its not something I can do much to help you with. Connection issue topics are non-stop on here for a reason, and given the problem, diagnosing and fixing it through posts would be a nightmare. Hence why this issue keeps on giving.

Edit - I will state that the cams do need to improve there so they’re at fault to a degree. Normal people should be able to use them without running into this and that doesn’t happen so their foundation is actually just not good enough. Over 90% of people can’t use a computer well so that translates to over 90% of people can’t deal with networking issues at all (which is a whole other world). Thus, their product has a bad foundation for those who want no connection issues. Sorry to tell you.
