Wyze Cam V2 keeps disconnecting and/or restarting

I’ve read the thread here https://www.reddit.com/r/wyzecam/comments/7mww36/wyze_cam_continuous_disconnects/ but this is a year ago.

I have three Wyze Cam V2’s and this one is causing issues. I’ve done a factory reset multiple times, I’ve flashed the firmware to the latest and previous versions without changes.

The other two work fine on my network without any issues. This one was bought for me as a gift a few months back and yesterday opened it up to use as a baby monitor but ran into this restarting/disconnecting issue.

The other posts talk about a known bug and sounds dead on with the issues I’m having but can’t find any posts that state how to fix this.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

From the Reddit thread it looks like you’re already trying to get a replacement. In addition to removing/swapping the SD cards you could also try swapping the cams themselves to see if it’s a power/location/WiFi issue.

Please let us know whether the new cam fixes the issue or not!

Ya I tried the power and cable from another without any luck. I’ll have to wait a while until I get the replacement. Because they can’t ship to Canada needed to find someone in the US to ship to then get it to Canada somehow. Bit of a hassle so will see in due time.
