We have several Wyze Cam Outdoor battery powered outdoor cameras that use a base station They are great for where we have them and they still work good. The batteries last a long time and even though we have other Wyze cameras outdoors (including the solar ones that are in a coma), we would still like to keep using these. One of them is showing signs of wear and tear and the USB port is in pretty bad shape, so much so that we cannot get the camera to charge anymore. The USB plug is on a small circuit board that has HL0C5 BATP01 V3.0 printed on the edge. I am not proficient enough to solder on a new USB plug. Does anyone know where we can get one of these or does someone have a defunct camera for parts we can buy the board from it? All help appreciated.
That cam is very old and Wyze doesn’t provide parts like that anyway. Your best bet is to try and find a used cam on Ebay or similar, maybe one that has something else broken that you can harvest the board out of.
The BCP is a significant upgrade from those old cams, may be time to start replacing them as they die?
