Wyze Cam OG With Solar Panel

I have a Wyze WVOD1 Outdoor Cam running with the Wyze solar panel attached to a tree. Can I use the new Wyze Cam OG with the solar panel?

Like with other “wired” Cams (Wyze considers their non-battery-powered Cams to be “wired”), you’d need a battery somewhere in the system if you want to provide reliable continuous power to Cam OG. You can use the Forum’s search feature to find write-ups of how other users have tackled this problem.

If your question is about merely plugging Cam OG into an existing Wyze Battery Cam Solar Panel and expecting that alone to adequately power the device, then I think the short answer is probably “no”.
