Have you allowed these browsers to open other apps? You haven’t described in detail what you’re experiencing when you try to log into the Wyze app, so I don’t know if you’re seeing a failure of the default browser (where the Wyze app sends you to actually log in) handing you back to the Wyze app after it’s received the authentication token. Discussion in this topic comes to mind:

Thanks for the reply and suggestions. My default browser was Edge. After the 3.1.5.569 update the only app I could no longer successfully logon to was wyze. I tried changing the default to Chrome and also DuckDuckGo and still the only app that didnt work was wyze. I installed the Brave browser and it works! Makes absolutely no sense to me.

I agree. I wouldn’t expect Brave to be the only browser that allows you to log in, especially since other browsers seem to make similar settings/features available to the user, like this:

Did you happen to read other posts in that topic, specifically this one about changing a setting in Edge to get it to work?

I had not seen that thread before i just tested making the change in Edge settings and made Edge the default again and it worked. I dont see a similar setting in Chrome and it still will not work when it is set as the default browser. I precer not to use Chrome anyway, so no great loss. At least I have two browsers that will work with 3.1.5 569. Now, let’s see what happens with the next app update …

I mostly use Firefox and Firefox Focus on Android, though I also sometimes use Opera and/or Opera Mini. It’s been a while since I’ve tried setting an Opera variant as the default and tried to log into the Wyze app with that, though that may be something worth testing. In my use, even with “Open links in apps” set to “Never” in Firefox (or toggled off in Firefox Focus), I still get the “Open in app?” prompt for the “wyze://” link that the browser tries to open after authenticating, when it’s trying to send me back to the app, and I can tap “OPEN” to complete the app login.
