have a plant in the picture that sways to the wind.
despite covering it with the detection zone, the motion tagging is showing it as a trigger.
what am i missing?

Can you post the Video which was tagged?
it could be anything including shadows from the swaying. Note that Motion Tagging will only show what woke up the camera and not necessarily what triggers notificaitons.
Also, are you using Cam plus / cam protect?
Are you setup for AI Notifications like person, pet, etc and turned off all motion?

I wonder if you misunderstand what detection zone actually does? The “covering it with the detection zone” seems to imply that it excludes the area; it’s the opposite.

Sorry, i’m used to a Panasonic baby monitor which uses an “exclusion” zone rather than a “detection” zone.
