Our old house up on the mountain is so rural that the camera on the porch qualifies as a trail cam! Poor fellow looks like he’s limping a bit. And doesn’t Mama Deer with her two fawns melt your heart?
I think they mean you can “pet” it. Because I am petting ALL those animals. They are literally begging for it.
Those Black Dawgs love vanilla ice-cream .
I like how insistent the child is!
I love that video. I’ve almost posted it a couple of times for similar posts, but it wasn’t quite the right timing. I’m kind of excited I finally had a good excuse to post it on here
I could totally see my toddlers doing the same thing.
I’d never seen it before. It’s a keeper.
I could see me doing to same thing.
You know what they say, as we age we turn into kids and than babies, pretty soon you’ll need a diaper change my friend
My body may have left that stage but my brain never did.
As my wife says: you act like a 15 year old
I get Notifications at times saying a Person is detected when no Person is in view. Here is a screenshot of my App showing Person is detected.
Here is the 12 second video that is suppose to have a Person in view.
I get those as well in front of my garage when headlights cast a shadow at certain times at night.
Don’t get me wrong, I love Wyze Person detection. Probably for me, 99% of the time it is accurate and timely Notifications too.
Just about once or twice per month because of my night time street lighting conditions I get a false Notification like above.
Same here, it usually happens on a moonless nights. Also, I think whenever Wyze updates the algorithms, AI needs retraining.
I would most definitely “pet that dawg”.
I can get dozens of false positives in the space of an hour on a partly cloudy day. It usually says “pet” but sometimes “person” and all it takes is for the sun to go behind or come out from behind a cloud.
I got annoyed one day and sent a batch of them to Wyze, but they never bothered to contact me.
It thinks the mailboxes are persons.
I get this a lot on my V4 that looks at my front yard. I subscribe to Cam Unlimited Pro so I have Descriptive Alerts and use the NBD Filter on all outside cameras.
I had to add an exclusion zone and mess with sensitivity on this camera because even the AI was repetitively seeing a person. And, to a dumb little $25 camera (I just bought 4 of the V4’s for $100), I can imagine the shadow and light make it look like a person. Even with cool A.I. behind it.
To be fair, humans see crazy things all the time. My wife and I take a walk and there is a diamond shaped warning sign that I can see on the walking path pretty far ahead of us. If you would ask me at random what I see… I would say an Ostrich.
Whatever that means.
I would also like to offer up the opinion that it is WONDERFUL to even to be able to discuss about how cameras detect objects in their video that we can use to alert and smartify our homes with.
10+ years ago, nothing like this existed in the public space. A.I. is going to be an amazing ride for all generations to come.
