I purchased 2 Wyze bulbs to replace my generic Smartlife Merkury bulbs hoping that they would be an upgrade.
I have created rules for different on/off times but find they do not work consistently. At least 2 or 3 times a week one or both of the bulbs does not turn off or on. I have deleted and created the rule multiples times and uninstalled the app (Android latest version) I also notice if the rule specifies to turn at 70% brightness the bulbs will only turn on at the last brightness settings .
I see some mention of this issue in other threads but no solution, is there a fix in the works ?
Hi, I am having the same issue with the Wyze Plugs. Very inconsistent. Sometimes they turn on/off as they should and other times not. Sounds like it’s a rules problem since at least 2 different devices exhibit the same behavior.
Wyze, listen up, it’s a real problem. Not out of date firmware or WiFi signal strength. Look at the rules processing. There’s your problem.
Keep in mind that this forum is primarily a user to user community. If you don’t get a helpful reply here, please file a Support Request. You can also submit a request from within the Wyze app by going to Account > Help & Feedback > Report an Issue. The latter method will allow you to include an app log for diagnosis.
