I’m curious to ask what type of codec do you use for compression of watching videos and audio from cameras while streaming.
Basically in order to get the data it has to steal the data either from the SD card or from the cloud transmit it to a server and then rebroadcast it back to your phone and I think something gets lost in that transmission some type of compression algorithm is in place.
A few users on YouTube have commented that the audio quality on similar cameras are very good but the wyze camera sounds terrible.
He did an experiment and took the SD card out and listen to the video and audio again and it was crystal clear and smooth just like the more expensive cameras were.
Is it possible you could change or upgrade the codec it seems like such an easy thing to do and it would make your product so much more amazing than it already is.
And I know a lot of people aren’t technically inclined they just like plugging things in and getting them to work. I also think it would prevent a lot less returns because if people don’t like the sound they’re not going to bother trying to figure it out or waiting for an update. But I have to admit your products are pretty amazing and I really love them.
