Will that fix the problem with the doorbell pro? I for some reason Do Not receive notifications on my phone, even after trying all suggestions and more than that! I reinstalled the doorbell, tried different networks and more!!! I am kind of pissed, missed a couple of appts because of that issue!!
In Android (at least) it’s already been doing this?

Not sure what issues you are having. The app is compatible with Android Version 9 and above. However, it does require a 64 bit OS. What Phone are you using?
I would expect your issue has to do with your phone being a 32 Bit OS.
Edited to add…now camera is dead. I have a ticket in. How long does it take someone to respond?
Ever since the update on July 17, my cameras go offline, regularly. Same thing happened in 2022 and 2023. What’s up Wyze?? Fix that asap.

After a recent Wyze app update, in the current version of the Wyze app (3.6.5), for Cam Pan 3 and Video Doorbell v2 devices, I cannot open the Friendly Faces setting in camera Settings → Event Recording → Customize Recordings. When I tap Friendly Faces, the screen flashes and dumps me back into the main My Home screen.
This behavior occurs on an Android 9 tablet, Android 13 tablet, and Android 13 phone. If I roll back to version 3.5.1 of the Wyze app on any device (the last version I was running [and had backed up] prior to updating), the issue does not exist. All cameras are on current firmware as per the Firmware Update screen in the Wyze App.
What say anyone?
Followed your keystrokes and was unable to reproduce. When I clicked on friendly faces it took me right to friendly faces.
This was on a Samsung S24 Ultra and a Samsung A9+ tablet both on android 15.
I tested on my 3 PS v3’s and my v2 doorbell.
Interesting that you reverted to a previous version and it worked.
If you haven’t already-
Restart phone
Clear app cache
Uninstall/reinstall app
Hopefully others will chime in.

With this update all my devices disappeared from the app. Clearing the cache and logging out and back on again don’t work.

I’m using the iOS 3.6.5 app and all 14 of my cameras are working just fine on iPhone and iPad.
Will this fix the buffer and encoding issue?
On multiple devices (iOS, iPadOS, macOS (apple silicon)) with fresh app installs viewing playback is near impossible. It glitches out, and sound is regularly not in sync. The issue persists to downloading to the photo library and is not always the same glitch / sync behavior - for example it may skip video feed at 0:33 playback in the app but when downloading that video it may skip playback at 0:45, with the timestamps being arbitrary.
It is not to do with the devices (multiple test) os version (multiple test and up to date) or state of app install (deleted completely and reinstalled several times and try regularly without doing so).
The issue also does not happen when viewing on the web portal - which for some unbeknownst reason does not have the capability to download the videos from it.
That is suggesting an encoding issue on the apple platforms (I have not tested any android devices) specifically the mobile Apple platforms as the macOS app is just the iPad version running in compatibility.
Fix that and then we should talk about built in HomeKit compatibility and a purpose built AppleTV app - these few things would make Wyze the gold standard of consumer security cameras.

I mean I would gladly volunteer, so idk what pizza and wings would cost on some weekend scrum meetings? (this isn’t a joke - I tried to look into a developer SDK for Wyze access to just develop one, but it doesn’t exist)
