Wyze App Update - 9/2/2025

Google Play Store hasn’t yet offered it to me, so I can’t test this, but I’m wondering if the Timelapse feature for Cam v4 is broken for you in this app version as some others have been reporting for recent Android app versions.^[1][2]

1. Time lapse V4 not working?

   Asking if anyone else has issues creating a timelapse on the V4. If i create a time start and finish etc., it never shows a schedule or runs a timelapse. I can click Start and the Stop appears, but exiting the timelapse page, removes Stop and falls back to start. Again no schedule. Staying on page after clicking start seems to act like its running, but a short test timelapse never appears. Tested OGs and they work.

2. Time lapse stopped working on Wyze Cam v4

   I’m not sure what happened, but time lapse stopped working for both my v4s approx. 24hrs ago, but it continues to work normally for my v3 and v2. When I start a time lapse (using the updated interface), it shows the stop button. When I then exit the time lapse screen and go back in, it doesn’t show the stop button but instead behaves as though a time lapse hasn’t been started, with nothing showing in Album. Is this a new bug?
