Wyze app crashing immediately on Pixel 9 Pro XL (Android 15) — can’t open app at all

Hi everyone,

I recently upgraded to a Pixel 9 Pro XL running Android 15 (fully up to date), and since then the Wyze app won’t stay open.

Here’s what happens:

The app launches and shows the home screen for about one second

Then it closes by itself every single time

No error message, just a clean crash

I’ve already tried the following (none worked):

Cleared cache and storage

Uninstalled and reinstalled the app (multiple times)

Tried both stable and beta versions

Checked all permissions

Confirmed Android System WebView and Play Services are up to date

Current app version: 3.8.6.723
Device: Pixel 9 Pro XL
OS: Android 15

This seems to be affecting multiple Pixel 9 users based on other reports I’ve seen here and on Reddit. Could Wyze please confirm if a fix is being tested and when it might roll out?

Same issue with Pixel 7 Pro, same symptoms as described by OP, app opens for one sec and closes. Tried multiple reinstalls, cache clear, etc. I think its related to pixel Pro series, as my Pixel 6 and Pixel 9a works just fine.

Anyone else having this issue or any tips for resolution?
